Inspired from a simple photograph of a mountain-scape

The Edgar family knew what they wanted. The intent was to bring the outdoors in and create an inspiring space for employees to flourish. From the concept photo of a mountain, a design palette was created based on the following concepts:

Mountains, Crisp, Clean, White

Together with Glasfurd & Walker we took the concept and transformed it into a custom mountain graphic acting as backdrop to the entire office and making the space come alive.

“Echoing those values in your office space can make a big difference in your relationships at the end of the day,” says Peter Edgar, President of Edgar Development.

“When you have the trust of the end user and owner, the design process becomes that much easier and more successful.  Peter and his team trusted the vision and stuck to it. As a result, they have one of the most powerful first impressions in the City.  People come through the door all the time asking to work for the Edgar’s; this is a direct result of their company ethos, culture, space and communications. They all tie together.”

A true measure of how successful a space performs, is seeing people create or enhance their culture within the space.  The games room located conveniently in the center of the space, features a vintage Miss Pacman machine that affords the team hours and hours of friendly competition and memories.
