Learning for the Future

Today we find ourselves in a global digital economy whose rate of change is faster than what the world has seen for the last 300 years. Machine learning, automation, and artificial intelligence are set to change what work looks like, particularly as more and more industries undergo digital transformation.

The demand for sophisticated, adaptable audio engineers, producers and technicians that understand business, and how to create unique entertainment properties is on the rise, but more importantly, so is the demand for people who can record & produce audio or music, collaborate, think critically, problem solve, and create unique entertainment properties. The world’s educational system cannot scale or train individuals fast enough to keep pace with changing technology and industry demands.

Gradients and glow abstracts play a big role in Nimbus’ identity.

We use gradients as a symbol of sound vibrations and grainy glow abstracts to underline the Brand’s philosophy and its origin of the name.

Typography plays important role in Nymbus’ visual identity. Using Neue Machina correctly allows us to create strong, clear messaging. It is a modern tech font family that perfectly reflects the field of Nimbus.

Universal vibrations driven by a shared passion for music.

When you’re part of Nimbus, you’re part of something bigger than yourself. Every single student adds their own unique vibrations; their own unique sound. We wanted the design to visually represent our extraordinary network of students, instructors and alumni.
Nimbus means glow, or a luminous halo. The inspiration for the visual layout was drawn from the name and the idea that the universe speaks in frequencies. Nimbus is creating the next generation of sound innovators and entrepreneurs. The ultimate goal was for the design to appeal to the music obsessed and keeping Nimbus’ values hold strong— community, innovation and a relentless obsession with music.
